Today's news:
Police surround garage after downtown robbery
DENVER - Police say they have caught the man they say robbed the First National Bank in downtown Denver on Friday morning.
Initially, Denver Police said they were looking for two men and one woman in connection to the robbery. Now, police say only one man, 40-year-old Chad Lee, was involved and the other two were witnesses who actually didn't know a robbery was taking place. Lee is accused of holding up the bank at 17th Street and Glenarm Place around 9:30 a.m. Witnesses say he did not show a weapon. He left the scene in a red Dodge truck and was arrested a short time later at Colfax Avenue and Esplanade. The money taken from the bank was recovered from the truck, according to police. At one point, Denver Police SWAT officers surrounded a nearby parking garage and did a floor-by-floor search of the structure.
Oh, yeah did I mention this happened to my sister?!?! She was the "victim"!
