Oh baby!

It seems like everywhere I turn someone is getting engaged or popping out a child. And now my friends are officially on "Round Two" of child procreating. Gretch was the first one to enter into the world of double children and now my friend Jenny follows with her second boy due November 17.

Since two of her single friends helped put a pseudo shower together for her we ended up having dinner at The Outback Steakhouse and enjoying good company of old friends from college last night. Oh, yeah, there were also some presents for the baby. Now doesn't a "baby shower" at the Outback sound pretty good? No games, no cake, no bottles. It was lovely! But in all honesty, it was great to help Jenny plan for a winter baby since the first one was a summer baby, and give her a jump start to her diaper collection.

It was great seeing some old faces from the past and spending time with my dearest friends Jenny and Melissa. While I don't miss college or classes, I do miss living so close to these women and sharing my day to day life with them. I am thankful we all still live in CO and are only a quick drive away from each other to meet up for dinner!
