Milan - Saturday PM
We arrived in Milan three hours after leaving the lovely CT and set out to find a room to stay in for two nights. We lucked out with Rick Steve's book and found a place right away and the guy was very nice and helpful. We ditched our increasingly heavy bags and set out for the famous cathedral. Our momentum is seriously dwindling at this point, so we basically the "money shot" and left to find food.
We walked through the outdoor mall that housed some of fashions biggest names...and a McDonald's of course. It was the only place I could afford in there!

An hour train ride landed us at the southern point of the Alps at Lake Como, home to beautiful water, gorgeous mountains, and George Clooney. We took the ferry boat from Varenna to Bellagio where we walked the shops, grabbed lunch, ate gelato and just in silence taking in this great view.
