Light the Night Walk

Thursday was our family's second time doing Light the Night Walk to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Since my mom's diagnosis I've become so aware of this disease and how many people it impacts. It means a lot to me to everyone who donated to Team Marilee and to those who showed up to walk. Thank you for your love and support!!
My mom, a SURVIVOR of 2 years
Abby, Melissa and Mom
The red balloons are for the supporters, the white balloons are carried by the survivors, and the gold balloons are carried in honor of a loved one passed.
The walk was at Washington Park and it was a gorgeous walk over a 3 mile loop.

I would love to have more walkers on our team next year, so save the date for the last Thursday in September 2008!!

Kari,
How awesome! It is so great to see your mom getting to carry a white balloon!
I would like to donate a bit (if it isn't too late...)
Love,
Jen
